Hello, I`m Goodness.
I`m a multimedia journalist, editor, media trainer, and communications specialist focused on public-interest journalism and accountability across Nigeria and the African continent.
I am currently the News Editor at TheCable, one of Nigeria`s leading independent newsrooms, where I lead daily editorial operations, edit and mentor reporters, and help steer editorial coverage on politics, development, justice system and other beats.
Previously, I have worked as a journalist covering governance, accountability, and development across Nigeria. My work has appeared in TheCable, UnbiasTheNews, Global Citizen, and other platforms. My work sits at the intersection of investigative reporting, news analysis, and development journalism.
I`m a Fellow of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Investigative Journalism (WSCIJ), the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID), and Global Press, where I`ve received advanced training in investigative journalism, solutions reporting, and newsroom innovation.
I also serve as an Editorial Board Member of the Media Career Development Network (MCDN), contributing to programmes and conversations focused on journalism careers, newsroom sustainability, and professional development across Africa`s media ecosystem.
